Project Name: Morpheus Lander Primary Structure
Project Description: Performed all weldment assembly and welding on the inner frame for the Morpheus Lander vehicle. Worked this project as a sub-contractor through Microcraft Inc. Tullahoma TN. Even though we were a sub-contractor MechCo played the leading role as the primary shop to perform over 75% of the scope. MechCo’s management team worked directly with NASA to assure this project maintained NASA’s complex quality plan for flight certified vehicles. Supplied all NASA required certifications and performed welding per NASA/JSC PRC-0001 Class B welds. Delivered the assembly within the time allotted for the project and within the budget guidelines set by NASA project team.
