Meet the Team

Angie gained her industry experience from the ground up. She has worked side by side with some of the most experienced leaders in the industry where she quickly enhanced her knowledge and experience in managing construction and industrial maintenance projects. Later, she and her husband started a construction and mechanical company. At that point MechCo Group LLC was born and now stands as a major contractor in the heavy mechanical industry across the United States and internationally.

Angie currently serves as the President and majority owner of MechCo Group LLC. She is responsible for long term and high-level strategies, improvements, procedures, policies, and finances. She’s prides herself in knowing each of the employees individually despite MechCo’s continuous growing numbers. Angie hopes to always keep a family atmosphere within MechCo as one of her top priorities.

Greg Schrimsher is the General Manager for MechCo Group LLC. He and his wife, Angie, started MechCo Group in January of 2012.

He has over 25 years of experience in the mechanical and construction industries, with the majority of those years spent in the oil and gas field. Greg is the second generation in this line of work. He began his career working alongside his father and uncle on various industrial and military installations across the nation.

Greg started his career in the mechanical industry as a combination pipe welder early in life at the age of 16. He further advanced his career in the local apprenticeship program. He then went on to be promoted to piping foreman, which ultimately paved the road into project management and later led to his desire to open his own mechanical company. His goal was to build something that could be passed on to future family generations, and he hopes that is something that he will be able to accomplish with MechCo Group.

Greg enjoys watching his sons, Matthew and Brodie, race motocross and supercross. Greg is also excited to get to see his grandson, Axell Schrimsher, get into racing as well. He and Angie enjoy spending time together away from work at the track with their sons, or at the beach.

Matthew Schrimsher is a Senior Estimator and Project Manager for MechCo Group LLC and the son of the General Manager, Greg Schrimsher.

He has over 11 years of experience with MechCo since 2012 and is third generation in his family to be in the mechanical and construction industries. He started out as a pipe welder at MechCo and eventually moved into a management role.

Matthew has a wife and son who enjoy watching him race professional motocross/arena cross. He has been riding since the age of nine and his son is already following in his footsteps at a young age.

Bailey Comer is a Senior Manager for MechCo Group LLC.

She has an associates degree in Business Administration-Accounting from Calhoun Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration degree with concentration in Project Management both from the University of North Alabama. She, her husband, and daughter enjoy spending time outside, with family and friends, and drag racing.

Bailey has been with MechCo since 2014 and has diverse management experience throughout all departments within the company. Bailey has quickly advanced her knowledge of government contracting during the time she has spent at MechCo. With this advanced knowledge, she has developed a very respected reputation within the Federal Aviation Fuels Maintenance and Construction Programs throughout all federal government contract vehicles.

Since MechCo has developed a solid reputation for working CONUS & OCONUS in remote locations, Bailey has developed a vast amount of knowledge and experience moving people and equipment to and from remote federal locations.

Chris Creekmore is the Operations Manager for MechCo Group LLC.

He has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industries and has been with MechCo since 2021.

He and his wife and three sons enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, and at the motocross track racing. Chris and his family are die-hard Ole Miss football fans.

Chris McClellan is the Quality Control Manager for MechCo Group LLC.

He has over 25 years of experience in the mechanical and construction industry. Chris started his career in the field in the piping industry and went on to be promoted to a project manager. He is equipped with a very diverse background, which has allowed him the opportunity to interact with all types of personalities and levels of expertise.

In his spare time, he and his wife love traveling.

Kristin Newton is a Staff Accountant for MechCo Group, LLC.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Alabama.

She has been with MechCo Group in the accounting department since 2018.

She and her husband have a dog, Buddy, and a family farm that they enjoy spending time at.

Kristin’s hobbies include photography, reading, and the beach.

Jenna Perry is the Procurement Specialist for MechCo Group LLC.

She has over seven years of experience in purchasing and logistic. She has been with MechCo since 2019.

Jenna, her husband, and four children stay busy with sports during all seasons.

She enjoys photography, listening to podcasts, and traveling.

Marco Bustos is a Lead Field Technician and Estimator for MechCo Group LLC.

He has over 7 years of experience combined in construction and mechanical industries with most of those being at MechCo.

He and his wife and two children who he enjoys spending time with when he is not traveling for work.

Sarah Weems is the HR coordinator and Accounts Payable Clerk for MechCo Group LLC.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of North Alabama.

She has been with MechCo since the beginning of 2021 and has experience in an admin role for over five years.

Sarah has one son, and they enjoy hiking and anything outdoors.

Kyle Tarpley is the Project Coordinator and Scheduler for MechCo Group, LLC.

He has an associate’s degree in Computer Drafting and Design from Virginia College.

He has over 10 years of experience in Mechanical, Nuclear, Aerospace, Piping and Government industries.

Kyle has two children, Kylie and Grayson. They are both heavily involved in sports and are his greatest accomplishments, to date.

When he has spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf and Atlanta Braves baseball.
